Dr. Manasvini M Yogi, Officer On Special Duty, Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ), Delhi University, talks about the idea behind establishing the Delhi School of Journalism on the North campus of the Delhi University.

In a radio interview with Pervaiz Alam, Dr. Yogi answers questions such as how did the idea of DSJ take place and why were the first batch students of the DSJ unhappy in the early days of the DSJ launch.

She reflects on what led students to protest against the DSJ authorities. She also remembers the days when she was associated with the launch of the Multi Media and Mass Communication of the IP College for Women.

Dr. Yogi was the member of the Delhi University committee which came up with a proposal to launch DSJ. She is also one of the founding members of the Media department of the IP College.

Dr. Manasvini Yogi has been an Associate Professor at the IP College for women, Delhi University, for more than 30 years. She was also involved in launching the Multi Media and Mass Communication Department of the IP College.
