Cine Ink Season: My India
Cine Ink hosts a discussion with Ajmer Youngsters on their vision for India. The programme was recorded at the iconic Ana Sagar Lake in one of the oldest cities of India, Ajmer, in the western state of Rajasthan. Moderated by Pervaiz Alam, the participants in the discussion are Aashish Roonwal, Aarushi Sharma, Kaavya Gaur and Praveen Rathore.
Ana Sagar Lake, spread over 13 kilometres, was built by Arnoraja (Ana), the grandfather of Rajput ruler Prithviraj Chauhan, in 1135 -1150 AD and is named after him. The Baradari or pavilions were built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1637 and Daulat Bagh Gardens by Jehangir (1605-1628). This programme is a part of ‘Cine Ink Season: My India’ launched in January 2019 to provide a platform to the new emerging voices of India.
